Where to Find It

A tropical plant. In Vietnam it grows about 500 m altitude. It grows in hedge thickets and along the edges of forests.

How to Identify

A pumpkin family plant. It is a fine climbing plant. It grows 4-5 m long. The leaves are entire and hairy. They can have 3-5 lobes. They are 6-10 cm long by 4-10 cm wide. The fruit are red berries. They are 1.5 cm long. There are many seeds.

Notes

There are about 30 Zehneria species. They grow in the tropics and subtropics.
