How to Identify
A shrub. It grows 1-6 m tall. It can be taller. The leaves are 6-10 cm long by 2.5-4 cm wide. Young shoots have brown hairs. The fruit are 8-10 mm long by 6-9 mm wide.

It is found in seasonal tropical forests and along moist watercourses in New Caledonia, Vanuatu and the Australian states of New South Wales, Queensland, and the Northern Territory.
