The ender crystals are objects that were used to heal the ender dragon. They were said to be destroyed by the Order of the Stone but were later revealed to be intact in Ivor's cottage.
History
Before the events of the game, the Order of the Stone went to the End. After getting used in using the command block, Soren used the block again to erase the dragon. They would be revered as heroes, but Ivor grew bitter. In exchange for keeping the secret of the command block, Ivor took all the Order's treasures including the ender crystals.
In Ivor's laboratory, Soren told Jesse the events of their ender dragon fight, stating that the crystals were destroyed. They later found the crystals in pristine condition. Jesse demanded Soren to tell the truth, in which he complied.
Properties
It projects a healing beam when near the ender dragon and explodes when damaged.

- In the time since Minecraft: Story Mode was written, the item in the original game was renamed to end crystal.
