Mind-control chips are small redstone devices used by PAMA to directly control citizens and several monsters.
History
A sticky piston pushes a dispenser-looking block onto the victims head in order to chip them.
According to either Petra or Lukas, their "chipping" made them become one with PAMA, sharing every piece of information with everybody else who was chipped. Their experience was described as "a fuzzy dream".
During A Journey's End?, Ivor dropped a mind-control chip after dying in one of the games of Builder Games.
Properties
When attached to a mob, the chip enhances their strength and speed, changes their eye color to red, and allows PAMA to freely control their minds and memories. The chipped mob becomes part of PAMA's hivemind, as noted by Petra and Lukas.
The chip can be hacked using the transmigrational headset, allowing the headset's user to control the mob instead.
Chipped undead mobs do not burn in sunlight.
If submerged in water, the chip shorts out and detaches.
