Where to Find It

It is a temperate plant. It grows in the desert.

Central Asia, Tajikistan, Xinjiang,

Countries: Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan

How to Identify

The leaves are strap like and in a ring. The flowering shoots are column shaped and can be 120-150 cm long.

How to Grow

Plants can be grown by seed.

Notes

It has also been put in the family Xanthorrhoeaceae.
