Source ↗Dioscorea amazonum is a flowering plant in the family Dioscoreaceae. It is a herbaceous vine that is native to Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, French Guiana, Guyana, Panama, Peru, Suriname, and Venezuela. Specimens have been collected from forested areas next to roads and rivers.
