A yam. It is a vine plant. The leaves are heart shaped but bulging in the middle. They can be 10-15 cm long and 10 cm wide.

Source ↗Dioscorea amaranthoides is a herbaceous vine in the genus Dioscorea. It is found in Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay, and Peru. One specimen was found in the vicinity of Machu Picchu, Peru in a forested area near water.
